  1. Today I noticed something new... at least to me. Previously when I used SmartThings motion sensors with a SmartThings hub, I could see the sensor in Alexa as a device, but couldn't trigger an Alexa Routine from it... today I can! Previously I have to use virtual Alexa switch/contacts to trigger an Alexa Routine But sadly, the same thing does not go for a SmartThings button... still need the virtual switch/contact to trigger an Alexa Routine
  2. I was wondering of anyone else had run into any issues with the Flex Motion Sensor. I had to return a couple because they were intermittent and now I just had one get stuck "on" … 4 Days! I really like the form factor as it gives me a clean solution for seniors and no batteries to worry about One small problem is that it takes 40 seconds after it detects motion and the motion is gone before it can detect again, unlike the SmartThings motion sensor which is ready in 15 seconds after loss of motion
