  1. Hi, I am looking for some advice, for ZigBee RGBW bulbs that work with smartthings without an additional bridge? I found Sylvania, are they recommend? I can't seem to find many RGBW bulbs that are ZigBee. Do Sengled have RGBW bulbs? The bulbs don't have to be ZigBee, if there are more options that are wifi, but I thought local ZigBee control would be better. I have a couple of Lifx bulbs already but they are sometimes slow to react. Also I've found that smartthings doesn't always update what state they are (on/off/colour etc...) and I have to manually refresh them, which defeats the purpose of automation. I am also looking for a Lux sensor that works with smartthings. I have a couple smartthings motion sensors, but looking for greater automation with ambient light levels. I have some Google Home devices I am assuming that ZigBee bulbs and sensors paired to smartthings will connect Google Home via smartthings and not directly. Thank you, Sam
  2. As some of you may know there is an official automate your life Alexa skill. However over the last few weeks the skill has seen a decline of users. We would like to know what you would like to see added to the skill? And also if you want to see Google Assistant support?
  3. Has anyone encountered this bluetooth issue with their Google Home products? I haven't personally, but I generally use my Google speakers to play music directly or to create a bluetooth connection to a better speaker as opposed to connecting a phone/tablet to them via bluetooth to play music. Google Home bluetooth issue acknowledged by Google: https://www.techradar.com/news/google-home-speakers-have-a-big-problem-and-its-finally-getting-sorted
  4. Hi All, looking for advice please on how to automate the notifications my Android phone from Smart Home Door Sensor and get my Google Home smart display broadcast "You left the Door Open Martin!!". I was looking up IFTTT and Tasker, but got lost with all the options. I would appreciate your suggestions please :)
  5. Is there a way to trigger a Google routine other than by Voice? Maybe a virtual contact closure from SmartThings or a switch changing state?
  6. Hey Community, Hone Depot Canada is having a long weekend sale in Google Home/Nest products. https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/categories/all/events/labour-day/smart-home.html?intid=CLP_H1_190829_SmartHome_LongWeekendEventSmartHomeSavings_EN
  7. I Purchased some Phillips Hue lights bulbs and 2 Phillips Hue Play Light Bar. I have a Google routine called "TV Time." This triggers some lights to turn off and to turn my bulbs I named "TV Lights "and Play Light Bar "Sky" to change color to blue. What's going on is the bulbs turn blue but the play light bar lights just come on as the last color it showed. Somehow I have created a color in Google routines called TV blue that it uses as the scene to change the color. So if I could get some help with the light bar to turn blue with the routine. I would appreciate it.
