  1. Amazon UK currently have a half price deal for the Echo Show 8, it's currently available for £59.99 (only £10 more than the Echo Show 5) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07SMN7FYZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_piQ8Db5W6YT9Z
  2. Amazon is introducing new feature to its Alexa Show device designed to help blind and other low-vision customers identify common household pantry items by holding them up in front of Alexa’s camera and asking what it is. The feature uses a combination of computer vision and machine learning techniques in order to recognize the objects the Echo Show sees. https://techcrunch.com/2019/09/23/amazons-echo-show-can-now-identify-household-pantry-items-held-in-front-of-its-camera/
  3. Thought this was pretty interesting that someone got their Hubitat Dashboard like dashboard setup on their Amazon Echo Show: https://community.hubitat.com/t/show-off-your-dashboards/1715/485?u=alan_ayl They did this by asking Alexa to 'Open Silk' (the Amazon browser?), then type the URL of the Hubitat. Hey that could bring more Amazon users to Hubitat.
